River Hills Motel

Beds were comfy and it was very clean. Only complaint was water for the sink wouldn’t get warm/hot.

Cute and cozy hotel. Will stay here again if up in the area. Bathroom is outdated and toilet is low to the ground, however I LOVED the water pressure in the shower! It is clean and upkept very well. Felt like a little cottage

This room is very clean and cozy. They thought of everything you need including a Keurig coffee maker and even a little bistro table to enjoy it on. The management is fantastic. Anything you need at a minute's request. Very clean and remodeled like a more expensive hotel. Great views and smells clean as fresh laundered linen. Have sent many family and friends and they loved the room too.

We stayed for 2 nights. Pros: Price, cleanliness, daily maid service, comfy mattress, location, streamlined check-in, prebagged, self serve ice, great shower head & water pressure, microwave, fridge. Cons: Thin walls. We had a loud snorer next door. Couldn't control the baseboard heat. It was stuffy even though we dialed the heat off. No bathroom fan, just a heat lamp. No comfy place to watch TV except bed, but the built-in wooden headboard was uncomfortable on our backs so we could have used more pillows. Overall: It fit our needs for 2 nights & the price was right. The pros outweighed the cons. It's an older place but its very clean.

Room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Very convenient to downtown. Sick was leaking underneath and ai informed the staff and also the sick only had cold water, no hot water. Staff reached out after I was in bed at 11:00 and didn’t see the email till this AM.

Needed some rest after working third shift. Accommodated an early check in. Best water pressure in shower I have ever had at a hotel/motel. Beds were comfortable and clean. Could use a little updating but met the needs of a good 4 hours of rest. Worth the low cost.

Not everyone would agree that these are five star accommodations. But the number one thing I look for when I travel is cleanliness! This is a Vintage Hotel with a vintage feel. The carpeting is dated. It was a great value! Peaceful and quiet. Had a microwave and refrigerator and Keurig coffee. Lots of counter space to put your toiletries. I appreciated that there was a dining table and 2 chairs in the room and additional tables and chairs outside the room. Even the outside area was clean. No spider webs to be found. Good lighting. Plenty of room to put your bags and stuff. Perfect location to explore Door County!

We had a great first stay here for one night! The facilities are nicely updated, and it’s a comfortable place. We appreciated having direct access to neighborhood walking for the dog! The doors could use a deadbolt for extra safety, and I wish it was forced air heat if we stayed in winter. Loved the TV streaming options!
